Another Football Index portfolio update to cap the end of the month off.
It’s been a mixed start to my new fresh Football Index portfolio this time round, mostly because of my own trading mistakes as usual.
Made a small loss getting on Takefusa Kubo and Lee Kang-In at the wrong times, so decided I would instant sell so I could invest in other players.
I used the money from the Takefusa Kubo sale to reinvest in Paulo Dybala and Nicolas Pepe, who have offset the losses a little due to their rise.
Both players have also won me some media dividends over the past few days, which has been a nice welcome bonus and I’ve reinvested the dividends in a few futures of Gen Shoji of Toulouse.
Nearly the end of the month finally so should have some capital to inject into the portfolio and add a few more regular media and PB dividend winners for the upcoming season.
This Weeks Football Index Purchases
Paulo Dybala – Juventus – 6 Futures
Paulo Dybala has been one of my star buys this week on Football Index and with all the transfer news with Tottenham Hotspur and other Premier League clubs interested, I thought I would add a few of Dybala to my portfolio.
Purchased 6 futures at £2.79 and had intended to keep, but when I seen the dip was coming on Sunday, decided to sell at around £3.03 with some media dividends ontop as a bonus.
Divock Origi – Liverpool – 8 Futures – £1.10
I have added 8 futures of Liverpool and Belgium striker Divock Origi to my portfolio at £1.10.
Divock Origi just recently signed a new contract with Liverpool, rewarded after his vital goals in the Champions League against Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur in the final.
I’m hoping this is going to be a big season for Divock Origi and he’s already risen slightly at £1.13.
Nicolas Pepe – Lille – 8 Futures
Nicolas Pepe of Lille has been another good purchase for me since restarting and with the transfer news that Pepe is close on a move to Arsenal, I couldn’t resist picking up a few futures.
Two days in a row of winning £0.23p media dividend from the 8 futures also, which was again a nice bonus.
Think I am going to continue holding Pepe for the remainer of the season. Pepe scored 22 goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 last season, so will be interesting to see if he ends up at a Premier League club should Arsenal sign him.
Other Misc Purchases
Added a few other players to my portfolio, Thorgan Hazard who has signed for Borussia Dortmund and won a fair bit of PB dividends last season if I remember rightly with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Also added a couple futures of João Félix of Atletio Madrid after his man of the match worthy performance in the 7-3 thrashing of rivals Real Madrid, getting 2 assists and a goal in the process.
Added a few of Florian Thauvin who won me dividends a couple of times last year and one future of Jonathan Bamba of Lille. Will be looking to add more of Bamba and others at Lille if Pepe does leave for Arsenal.
